It was a rainy day today. The sky was cloudy, and early in the morning, as I left for work carrying an umbrella, it was raining cats and dogs. Puddles filled the road up to my ankles. Still, I walked for ten minutes through the heavy rain to reach school.

This week we are not teaching. It was pleasant to be surrounded by happy children playing board games like chess and Monopoly. In the classes I entered, I completed writing the total marks on the cover pages. During a free period, I also entered the marks into both the soft and hard copies.

After sending the students home, I managed to mark one bundle of papers that needed to be completed by 25th December. The remaining bundle will be marked by a colleague who has less work, which is a great relief.

I came home at three o’clock, performed my afternoon prayer, and had lunch.

Friday is a holiday for us, but I still have a few tasks to complete. I need to enter the marks of two bundles into both soft and hard copies and complete one report task by entering students’ key competencies. I may do this work tonight so that I can rest properly on Friday.
